Skull Tricking Lure

This lure will show you how to trick your victim into getting skulled in the wilderness. This method will make it so that your opponent gets skulled even though YOU attack THEM! There is some set-up involved, so it's not as simple as just attacking your opponent to get get skulled.

Preparing Yourself

For this method, you WILL need a high magic level. If you don't have a high magic level, you will need to work with a partner who has a high magic level. A magic level of 85 or higher is preferable for this method.

Having the ancients Spellbook is optional. Make sure you have good magic gear that you can afford to lose (since you're going to enter the wilderness).

Also have 1-2M that you can afford to giveaway.

Finding a Victim

Getting the right victim is important for luring. If you want to lure, you have to make sure that your victim isn't too smart, too strong, or too wealthy. Look for people that have display names with their real life name and numbers followed by them. This usually indicates younger players with less awareness.

Also try to find victims that have stuff worth taking. For instance, if you want to lure around 30M from someone, try to pick people that have 2-3 good items. So for a 30M lure, someone with dragon platebody, bandos tassets, and a decent weapon would be a good victim.

Making a Story

Now that you have found a good victim to lure, you want to get them to go into the wilderness with you, skull them, and eventually kill them. But to do so, you first need to convince them.

Having a good, convincing story can get them into the wilderness with you in minutes. Go up to your victim and tell them that you are quitting Runescape soon. Then tell them that you need them to help you make a video. I usually tell them that I'm going to make a "samurai" video, which I'll explain later.

Taking the Victim to the Wilderness

Tell them that you will pay them 10M GP, and to meet you in Edgeville. Once they meet you in Edgeville, tell them to bank all their items. This makes them feel safe, because they know they can't lose anything if they have their items banked. In the meantime, you should withdraw two steel 2h swords.

So take them a bit south to the wilderness lever and ask them to pull it. Both of you will be teleported into level 50+ wilderness. Once you're there, ask your opponent to follow you a bit north of the lever (if they pull the lever, they can get out of the wilderness).

Skulling the Victim

Tell your victim that you'll be doing a samurai movie, and that he needs to say a few lines. Then pretend to be fumbling to get your camera set up. Ask your victim to follow you a bit north, past where the webs are. You will be asking your victim to film at the same place the 2nd time you enter the wilderness to get him skulled.

Then tell your victim to say the following lines "You shall meet your doom today Samurai", "Then your village and troops will kneel to me!" Then tell him to attack you after saying those lines. Also tell your victim that you'll also say some lines and then kill him.

So your victim says some lines, attacks you and gets skulled, then you say some lines and kill him. Once your victim is dead, tell him to meet up with you at Edgeville again. Once you meet your victim in Edgeville, you will notice that your victim's skull is gone. This is because they died, and you lose your skull after you die.

Then tell your victim that this scene of footage earned him 1M GP, but you have another scene that you will pay 4-5M for. Now pay your victim 1M GP to get his trust, and to get your victim to think that you are really serious about paying for these videos.

Getting the Victim to Bring Good Items

So now you have told your victim that you'll pay him 4-5M for the next scene of footage. This time, ask your victim to bring 3 good wearable items (like bandos, dragon platebody, etc). Tell him that you'll both be going into the wilderness again, but this time you will be attacking HIM. So tell him that you will be the one skulling, so it's safe to bring 3 items, since he keeps 3 items on death.

You shouldn't wear any armor or weapons besides that steel 2h sword that you had on earlier. But in your inventory, have good mage gear, a KO weapon (like d claws or dragon dagger), potions, food, and runes (specific spells explained in next section) - the below image will show you a good setup.

Once you see that your victim has the three good pieces of armor on, ask him to follow you. Tell your victim to pull the lever again, and meet you in the wilderness. Once you're in the wilderness, take him a bit north of the lever (north of the slashable spider webs).

Now tell your victim that you will be saying "Ah, so you have returned with blessed armor!" "You are still no match for me!" Then tell your victim that you will attack him after saying those lines.

Stand right next to your victim and hit him with the steel 2H (or whatever outfit you may have on). Sometimes your victim might not be attacking you back, so ask him to hit back you back as fast as possible. If you kill them before they hit you back, then they won't get skulled, and you won't get their stuff.

When your victim attacks you back, your victim will be the one getting skulled! Because your victim attacked you earlier (1st time you two went into the wilderness), HE will be the one getting the skull, even though YOU were the first one attacking this time!

So now your victim becomes skulled, and is wearing 3 valuable items. It's time to get the kill!

Killing your Victim

You have to act quick in order to kill your victim. They can get away at any time by pulling the lever just south of them.

If you have the normal spellbook, then you're in luck. Cast teleblock on them to make sure they can't use the lever. Then just use flames of zamorak and entangle to kill them. Make sure you use the "Charge" spell and have the "Magic Cape" on before using Flames of Zamorak.

If you are using Ice Barrage, then just make sure that they don't have food. Because if they eat, they can eventually get to the lever to teleport away. Once you get your victim to a low HP and you know they are still frozen for a while, use your KO weapon (like dragon claws) to deliver a lot of damage in a short period of time.

Once you kill your victim, the three valuables items that he was carrying now becomes yours! And because most victims forget to use protect item in their panicked state, you will most likely get all three items. Good luck skull tricking!

Luring: Wilderness Ditch Lure

The ditch lure is a classic lure. It can be used to make billions if you know how to properly do it. Here's a video demonstration how a group of lurers made billions in a few days using this lure:

Background

You need two people for this lure. One will be the talker (the one who finds a victim and talks him into going into the wilderness) and the killer (the one who kills the victim once they are inside the wilderness).

The idea is to convince someone with expensive items to go into the wilderness. Usually convincing is done by telling the victim (person who will get killed) that the talker is quitting and giving away tons of money. The talker pretends to drop a ton of money in the wilderness. The victim runs into the wilderness to grab the money, but the killer is also out there, and kills the victim using Ice Barrage and Claws.

Then the talker and killer split the money from the kill.

Method

Find players Runescape that have holiday items or large amounts of money. You can easily find them in populated worlds at the Grand Exchange or at various banks. Since the kill will be taking place in level 1 or 2 wilderness, you need to make sure the victim you find is within 1-2 combat levels of your killer.

Assuming you are the talker, tell the person that you're quitting runescape for some various reason - college, girlfriend, job, etc. Then show them a ton of nice items. Tell them that you think they are doing well with money, and you would like to give the money to them since they can handle it well and won't put it to waste.

Tell them you will be dropping all your items/cash. You have to convince them that you don't want a big drop party, and have them teleport to varrock square with you. Once in varrock, tell them that theres too many noobs here, and you want it to be in a more private area.

This gives a good excuse to take your victim closer to the wilderness. Lead them to the jolly bar inn. Once at the jolly bar inn, trade them and show them 200M-1B cash and say that you're dropping the money first, and you'll drop the items later.

After you showed them the money, drop the 200M-1B before entering the wilderness. Low alch a rune large helmet and you will have about 10K in your inventory. The helmet alches for around 10k and you can run into the wilderness and drop that 10K. Since the 10K and 200M look the same on the ground, they will think you dropped 200M. Run back out of the wilderness and pick up your 200M-1B.

Thus the victim will think that you really dropped the 200M-1B that you showed them earlier. They will obviously run in the wilderness to grab it, and the killer would be waiting further north in the wilderness to barrage them. Once the victim is frozen for 30 seconds, the killer can use dragon claws and continue barraging to quickly take out the victim.

Once the victim is dead, you can split the rares, money, armor etc dropped by the victim.

Tips

- People tend to trust girls more. You could try making the talker a girl character.
- Make sure there aren't any holes in your story. If you tell the victim a certain story about why you are "quitting", then you must follow that story and not contradict yourself.
- Be persistent. Not everyone will go into the wilderness. You just have to move on and find the next victim.

If you are good enough, you can eventually lure people for billions, as you can see from the wilderness ditch lurers in this video:
