Shad's Clan Becomes #1 in ALL OF RUNESCAPE!!

Introduction

After reading the title, you might be wondering... Shad has a clan? Yes, I created a clan on Runescape exactly one month ago on this date. I named it Army of Shad, with the hopes that I can figure out what it takes to become a successful clan leader and propel my clan to the top on Runescape.

After just one month, ladies and gentleman, I achieved it. What you might be more interested in however, is that I'm going to share how I achieved it.

You might be wondering why I haven't mentioned my clan on The RSMG before today. It's not that I don't like the people of The RSMG (I love you guys). It's because I wanted to show everyone that you can have a top Runescape clan without having a website and telling all your website viewers to join it.

I wanted to show that ANYONE on Runescape can build a top clan with the right ideas and good direction.

Now my clan has 500 members (the maximum number of members that a clan is allowed to have) and we rank #1 for P2P rated clan wars clans. You can see this for yourself. Go to the Runescape website's main page, go to the community tab, and click on "Clans".



Becoming Number ONE on Runescape

Once you get to that page, the first thing you'll see is my clan's banner:



As you scroll down, you will see the 6 hiscore lists for the clans. The first hiscore list being about clan wars (members).

It's an honor to make the Top 5 of any of the 6 hiscore lists. That's great, but it's not good enough. My clan is NUMBER ONE for not one, but TWO clans on the hiscore lists.

When I began this clan, I had only myself and 4 other F2P founders that left after I paid them 100k each for help with the charter. I was the only one in the clan, and no one could imagine that my name would show up anywhere notable on the hiscores list. But as you saw earlier, we've shown a lot of people wrong.




Profits and Advantages

Not only is it an honor, but there's a lot of profiting and advantages that come with being the leader of a famous, top-ranked clan.


For instance, someone gave me 300 MILLION GP to become a top ranked member of my clan. For good reason too. If they can say they are a top ranked member of the number one clan in Runescape, they get a lot of respect and backup on Runescape. So that's a financial advantage (or profit) of being the leader of a top clan.

Then there's the support advantage. Say you want to go hunt the King Black Dragon, but you need people to go with you. Well, when you're the leader of a clan of 500, you can make a King Black Dragon hunting event and have more support than you'll ever need!

Jagex made it so you can only have an awesome Tier 7 Clan Citadel if you have 50 or more people in your clan. If you have 500 like mine, it becomes extremely to gather resources for the week. Currently Jagex lets you proceed at the rate of one tier every two weeks, and we're already at tier 2 (citadels have been out for only 2 weeks when this post was made). So if you have a large clan, you can enjoy an epic clan citadel like the one you see on the citadel teasers at the clan camp portal.

Another advantage is that you can promote your ideas, services or affiliated organizations on a platform that many people will notice it from. Not only do your clan members notice things you have to say or people you want to promote, but you can place that stuff on your clan homepage and have ALL OF RUNESCAPE see what you have to say. You Can Have a Top Rated Clan Too

So as I mentioned earlier, I started the clan one month ago on this date. It's been only one month, and I've become the owner of the top clan on Runescape without promoting the clan on this website or any other websites.

Other clans that have been around for YEARS are still not in the top 5. Clans try for months and months just to make it into ONE top five clan hiscores list. However, as I've shown, if you know the secrets and have the right mentality, you can achieve top ranking in one short month.

Best of all, I'm not keeping these clan success methods a secret. It would be nice to see some other dedicated clans out there to give my clan some competition ;)
