To start Desert Treasure, talk to the Archeologist in the Bedabin Camp. He tells you that there is great treasure in the desert (there's really not, I live in Arizona). He wants you to give an etched note to one of his colleagues.
You can find this colleague in the examining hall, in the south of the Camp. Talk to the Archeology Expert and he will translate the note. Head on back over to the Camp.
After discussing with the archeologist, you decide to split any possible loot 50-50.
WARNING: TAKE OFF ALL SARADOMIN AND ZAMORAK ITEMS NOW!!
This is because a bunch of people will attack you if you don't. Head south to the Bandit Camp and talk to the Bartender. Buy a beer for 650gp (expensive, huh?) and talk to him again. Bring up diamonds in conversation (over your 650gp beer >.<), then talk to Eblis in the east side of camp. He tells you he is able to craft some Scrying Glasses[ to help you find diamonds. You will need to supply him with: 12 magic logs, 6 steel bars, 6 molten glass, 1 heap of ashes, 1 pile of bones, 1 piece of charcoal and 1 Blood rune. Any of those items can be noted. Gather these items and give them to Eblis. To the south east of camp, there is a small hill, on which Eblis is surrounded by mirrors! 6 of them! Look into each of them to discern the locations related to the finding of your precious diamonds. 4 are true, and 2 are false mirrors.

Part 1: Diamond of Shadow
Items needed:
Lockpicks (possible loot from pickpocketing bandits), Ardougne Teleport
What you want:
Prayer potions, super attack / super strength potions, food (if you want to risk it), Saradomin Brews, Super Restores (instead of food), armor and weapons, earth spells (if using magic)
North of Ardougne, there is a man called Rasolo. He is to the west of the Fishing Guild, between the two fenced areas.

While speaking to him, you discover that someone has stolen his gilded cross! He needs you to get it back, of course! After that, head back on over to the Bandit Camp. Once there, find a tent containing a locked chest. It's to the south of the camp. Unlock the chest and take the cross. Here, you need lockpicks. Possible calamities include: snapping of lockpicks, poisoning and extreme frustration. But don't worry; just pack a few extra, or pickpocket the bandits for some more (a bit ironic eh, stealing a lockpick from a bandit?). This might take awhile, so don't get angry. Deliver the cross to Rasolo, and you get the Ring of Visibility! Put it on, and a trap
door will appear in that fenced area.

Sneaky! Open the trap door, and enter into Damis' lair. He calls it the[B]Shadow Dungeon[/B. Only go in if you're fully prepared for a few tough fights. Go into the tunnels and head east, as far as you can! You'll pass by some level 63 Shadow Hounds and some level 80 Giant Skeletons.
Now, you must kill Damis. This isn't very hard, if you keep prayer up. You can cast Snare or Entangle on him to make potting up easier, if you want. This form is only level 103. But, he respawns as a level 174 Damis! This form is a lot tougher, so be ready! He drains your prayer very, very fast, and can max a 280! It shouldn't matter though, if you keep Protection prayers on and use your prayer potions, even if your prayer drains very fast. It's a good idea to poison him, with a DDS special. Be careful to keep your prayer up, or else you will die. Some strategies are to wear prayer-boosting armor (Initiate / Proselyte with Holy Wrench or Prayer Book) or mage him with earth spells. After he is dead, sigh, and pick up the Diamond of Shadow off the ground.
Part 2: Diamond of Blood
Items:
Silver bar, Garlic, Spice, armor, weapon, pestle and mortar.
You want:
Food, armor and weapons (after Entrana, where you can't have weapons), Druid Pouches, air spells for mages.
Go to the Canifis Pub, where you will see a cut-scene. In it, a vampire called Edward, no wait, Malak gets some blood from the bartender, Roavar. He then calls you over. Tell him you want a diamond, and he enlightens you to its whereabouts. A vampire named Ed- Dessous has it at the moment. Malak tells you where he is and how to kill him. Malak wants Dessous dead so he can have more land. Vampires are so selfish.

Use your Glory to get to Draynor and go down the dungeon entrance trap door entrance and find Ruantun. The two entrances are by the jail. Give him the silver bar, and he'll give you a Silver Pot.

Go to Entrana through the Port Sarim dock. Be sure to bank all armor and weapons before! Have the monk enchant your pot.

You can find this high priest in the chapel, naturally. Once you do this, go back to Malak in Canifis, and he will get you some blood. Crush your garlic with the pestle, and add it to the blood. Then, add your spice. Equip yourself for a fight now. Bring a Druid Pouch, if you have one, to protect your food from becoming rotten in the Mort Myre Swamp. Pass the Slayer Master's bridge, and then head south. Continue in a south way, until you cannot go any further. Now, head southeast, through all the curves, until you reach a graveyard.

Use your silver pot on the grave, and Dessous will come out. You can simply melee him, but you cannot safespot. Be sure to have Protect from Melee on. The best way to kill him is to attack him with air spells.

Beware; he also can shoot bat-like creatures at you, causing damage. Once you kill him, talk to Malak at the bar and he will give you the Diamond of Blood.
Part 3: Diamond of Ice
Items: Cake, spiked boots (can be acquired by buying standard boots from the same guy who sells rock climbing boots, and bring them plus an iron bar to the Burthrope smithy, after Death Plateau)
You should have: 13 Rocktails (they put your HP above its max), super attack / super strength potions, Games Necklace / runes for 2 teleports to Trollheim, one-click teleport, rest of inventory should be Super Restores. If maging, use fire. Prayer clothes are recommended. (Kamil will drain stats, so keep them up with potions, including magic. Use a spell a few levels below your max to avoid stat drain problems.)
Go to Trollheim and head to the northern ice gates.
(deleted my epic map too....)
When you reach the troll child, use a cake on him. DO NOT EAT!! Then, he wants you to find his missing parents. So you have to go through the gate and kill 5 ice trolls. These are hard, because they are level 126-130, and your stats will be draining at this point. Just tank them, and keep your HP and prayer up! Be praying melee the whole time. After you kill 5, a message will have been appearing that says something like [some ice has fallen away from the cave. After you killed 5, restock if necessary, then head in a southeastern direction until you find a small cave. It is difficult to spot due to the snow. Go into the cave, which leads you on a path filled with level 131 ice wolves. Pray melee and just walk (your run will be drained) along the path. The path is hard to follow, because it's not on the minimap. Once you get to a certain point (the path will be curvy) you get a message similar to "you feel an evil presence". Soon after this, you will see a yellow dot and an arrow on the minimap, and Kamil will attack!
(No pic of Kamil, I killed him too fast)
For Kamil, you need to pray melee and attack him. He uses ice spells that will freeze you temporarily. Don't worry, just keep your stats and prayer up, and soon enough, he will fall. Kamil is widely considered the hardest of the 4 bosses. But, he doesn't drop a diamond! So, keep following the path (I randomly clicked on the minimap, hoping to get there) until you see this:

Now you put on your spiked boots and start climbing the path. You will fall on occasion, taking 20 LP of damage. After a short hike, you'll reach the Ice Gate.
(accidentally erased pic of the gate, sorry)
Go through, and walk along the straight path until you reach two frozen trolls. Attack them (magic or range is best) and they will break open, revealing... A troll mommy and daddy! You find out these are the parents of that "little brat" who wanted you to kill the bad man. They give you a diamond after a small dialogue. Now, get yourself away from that devilish landscape and get ready for a slightly warmer chain of events.
Part 4: Diamond of Smoke
Items: tinderbox, facemask, stuff for another boss
Informally required: armor to kill a level 167 (mages, use water please), super energy potions (3 - 4 doses), ice gloves, prayer potion (1/2 - 4 dose), food
The Smokey Well is located to the west of Pollneivich, behind those big hills west of the camels. Go west past the Menaphites and it's a short walk from there. Now, be sure to have on your facemask and equipment, and enter.

Go east, until you hit a big, open space. Let your run energy get to 100 now, you'll need it! Try opening the chest, and it tells you something about unlocking the key... So, run to the northeast corner of the cave, light that torch, and go to the southeast, then northwest followed by southwest. The chest will open, and, using your ice gloves, pick up the Warm Key. That part is easy if you do not get lost, like most things. Now, scurry to the eastern-most part of the cave where a level 167 demon, Fareed, will attack you!
Be sure to wear ice gloves during this, or else you will drop your weapon! Keep prayer on at all times, as he is reported to hit over 300 LP's damage! Water spells will take him right out.

Kill him, and then get out!
Part 5: The Pyramid
Items: all 4 diamonds, prayer potions (I used 1 - 4 dose), super anti-poison potion (1 should do it), food (very important!!)
Recommended to have: super energies, light armor (dragonhide, penance gloves, spottier cape, boots of lightness)
Go back to Eblis, the mirror guy, and he tells you about some chump named Azzanadra, who's got himself lost in a Pyramid. Baby. The Pyramid in question is southeast of the mirrors. Use the 4 Diamonds with the 4 Obelisks. Its not hard, only smoke and shadow are hard to discern. When you do that, get ready to finish this bad boy off, and go inside...

The goal is to run. Keep running, and don't stop. You will be attacked by mummies, scarabs (who prevent you from moving while they pop up, they poison!), and you might fall into a pit. When you get to the bottom level (it shouldn't take more than a few minutes), talk to Azzanadra.

He tells you a short, sad story about his life, to which you are hopelessly lost. Because of your ability to bear long-winded stories...

Additional Info:
after the quest, Eblis will sell you one Ancient Staff for 80,000 gp.
When you pray at the altar in the Pyramid, you get the Ancient Magicks. You can pray there again to go back to the normal spellbook. After the quest, you can use a "secret" back door to the pyramid.
