Its been awhile since we have had a skill guide put up on TheRSMG, but one of our new team members, Vsi, has seen to that! I|-Introduction VI|-Conclusion I|-Introduction Crafting is a skill that allows you to make things like armour and pottery. It can be a very tedious and boring skill to train, but it pays off. II| Tables Leather Dragonhide Others III|-Guide Making leather armour will give little to no profit (as leather armour doesn’t usually sell in the Grand Exchange) but the experience is quick. To make leather armour, you’ll need leather, some thread and a needle. Use the needle on the leather to make armour. Make leather gloves until level 7, because at level 7 you can make leather boots. You can do this until 57 as it’s the quickest experience. At level 57, you should move on to crafting dragonhide armour. Levels 10-57/10-99 - Bowstrings Making bowstrings will give you more profit than making gold amulets, but less experience. Therefore, if you are trying to reach 99 as quick as possible, I advise you not to spin bowstrings but to make gold amulets instead. To make a bowstring, all you’ll need is flax. Use the flax on a spinning wheel to make a bowstring. I recommend using the spinning wheel in Neitiznot or * Lumbridge (If you are going to pick the flax yourself, use the spinning wheel at Seers’ Village). You can do this till 99 if you need the money as it’ll give the most profit up to 99. *Couldn’t get picture for Lumbridge as it’s not shown on the world map. Levels 57-99 – Dragonhide Armour After level 57, dragonhide armour will give you the most experience. These, unlike leather armour, will probably sell in the Grand Exchange. To make dragonhide, do the same as you did whilst making leather armour, except with dragonhide, instead of leather. You can also use a Sacred clay needle or a Volatitile clay needle for more experience. IV|-Useful Items Sacred clay needles can double your experience which can save you money and time. I recommend using one when crafting dragonhide armour as it can save a lot of money, I wouldn’t bother using one from levels 1-8 though as it will be a waste as you’ll fly through 1-8 crafting pretty easily. Remember that sacred clay needles do run out of charges eventually, so it's not worth using them all the way to 99. When your bored of crafting though, going to stealing creation, playing a match or two to relieve boredom and do something different, and walking off with another sacred clay needle is a pretty good idea. V|-Milestones 40 Crafting – When you reach 40 crafting, you can go into the Crafting Guild! You’ll need a brown apron to enter the guild, which can be bought from the Varrock clothing shop. Many people mainly go to the guild to mine gold there as it has the most amount of gold and silver ore for free players. 99 Crafting – You’ll have the highest level you can reach for crafting in the game! Plus you’ll be able to buy the Crafting Cape of Accomplishment from the Master Crafter in the Crafting Guild. V|-Conclusion Good luck in reaching level 99 in crafting! You’ll be able to own the Crafting Cape of Accomplishment!
This guide shows you methods to 99 crafting that are profitable, or if you arn't so concerned with cash, there are methods that will get you up crafting levels quite quickly.
So read on and enjoy Vsi's first guide for TheRSMG!

Making gold amulets will give you some profit (not much) but it will give you double the experience of spinning bow strings. To make a gold amulet, you’ll need a gold amulet (unstrung), an amulet mould and a gold bar. Use a gold bar on a furnace to make a gold amulet. I recommend you use the Edgeville furnace, as it’s the closest to the bank or Port Phasmatys’.
