Swept Away

Description: Maggie, a witch is making some delicous goulash. She might share some of it with you if you can enchant her broomstick so she can finish the stew.

Part 1: Begin this quest by talking to Maggie who is south of Draynor. Ask her what smells interesting and then ask if you can help her. Start the quest and she'll tell you she needs her broom enchanted by Hetty, Betty, and Aggie.




Part 2: First head to Aggie's house in Draynor and ask her about Swept Away. She'll then take you to a secret witch place. There will be 16 lines on the ground. She will say sweep 4 of the 16 lines and make 4 triangles with no extra lines or shapes.



Sweep the 4 highlighted lines to make the 4 triangles. The broom will then become enchanted. Talk to Aggie to get back to Draynor.


Part 3: Now head to Port Sarim and talk to Betty in the Rune Shop. Ask her about Swept Away.
She'll tell you she needs her wand to enchant the broom and then she'll say to go down the trapdoor and talk to her assistant. Lottie will say the wand is in the chest and is sealed by magic.



You will be given a magic slate. To open the chest you will need to move all the animals to their pen. You can only carry one animal and only one animal can be in a pen.


1) Move the blackbird from the blackbird pen into the holding pen.

2) Move the rat from the spider pen into the blackbird pen.

3) Move the spider from the reptile pen into the spider pen.

4) Move the lizard from the rat pen into the reptile pen.

5) Move the rat from the blackbird pen into the rat pen.

6) Move the blackbird from the holding pen into the blackbird pen.

When you have finished, open the chest, get the wand, and take it to Betty. She will enchant the broom for you.

Part 4: Walk to Hetty in Rimmington. She needs a newt to make an ointment for the broom. Enter the trapdoor which is just outside her house. Chat with Gus and he will say he put the wrong labels on all the crates. You are only allowed to take one animal from the crate.


Take an animal from the one that is labeled mixed. Label it the animal that you get. There are 2 crates left. They are both labeled wrong. Determine what both of them are labeled. When you are finished grab a newt from the newt crate and take it to Hetty. She will make a broom ointment. Use it on the broom and take it back to Aggie. She will ask you to stir the stew. When your finish that go back and talk to her and you will have finished the quest.
