Monk's Friend Quest Guide

Description: A monk's child has had their blanket stolen. Find the thieves' den and return the blanket, then help Brother Omad organize the drinks for the child's birthday party.

Skills Recommended: 28+ Combat, Higher agility so you have to rest less

Item(s) Needed: Jug of Water, Normal logs (bring more than one)

Items Recommended: Armor and weapon if below 30 combat. Woodcutting hatchet, so you do not have to worry about not having logs.

Quest Reward: 2,000 Woodcutting Experience, and 8 Law Runes



Part1.)
Speak with Brother Omad, who is in the Monastery south of Ardougne. Once you speak with him, he will tell you he hasn’t slept in a week because Brother Androe’s son keeps crying.



Then he will tell you that last week thieves had broken in and had stolen the child’s favorite sleeping blanket, and that the child will not rest until it is returned.Ask if you can help. Then he will ask you too because they are peaceful men and can not deal with this. He will tell you the thieves hide in a secret cave near the battlefield to the west, and that it is under a ring of stones.

Head west until you reach a circle of stone right before the battlefield. Once you enter the circle a ladder will appear, climb down it. If you are having trouble finding the circle of stones look at the image below.



Once you enter the cave, head south, open the door, then head southeast and grab the blanket.



After you have the blanket, head back to the monastery and talk to Brother Omad. He will thank you and say that he will go grab some sleep now.

Part2.)
While still in the conversation with Brother Omad, say is there anything else I can help you with? He will then tell you about Brother Cedric not having returned with the wine for the party yet. He then will ask you to go look for him. Agree and then head North until you reach the signpost, and then head west.



Once you find brother Cedric he will be very drunk and the only way he can sober up is if you give him some water. Speak with him again and you will offer him the water, he will then sober up and say he needs your help you fix his cart. If you have not already, cut some logs and then talk to Brother Cedric again.

After you hand Brother Cedric the logs, head back to Brother Omad and enjoy a little party with some falling balloons.



After that the quest will be complete!
