Make Money While Alching: April 25th, 2010

Different items are beneficial at different times to make High Alchemy the most profitable. High Alchemy is one of the best ways to train magic due to its ease and exp per hour.

As for April 23rd, and the days to follow it, here are some GREAT methods that will allow you to cast High Alchemy for long periods of time AND make money in the process!

F2P Method

For this method, you will be casting High Alchemy while collecting Monk Robes at the upstairs floor of the Monastery (located west of Edgeville).

First get nature runes and a noted amount of the item you wish to Alch. There is a room in the Monastery that has a table with a Monk Robe Top and Monk Robe Bottom.

Keep casting High Alchemy and pick up the Monk Robe top and bottom from the table. Together, they are worth around 2000gp. It takes a few seconds for the robes to reappear, so you can keep High Alching while you wait for the robes. You will only stop alching for the 2 seconds it takes to pick up the robes.

High Alch while you wait for the Monk Robes to reappear. Continue to collect the robes as they appear until you fill your inventory will them. You should have 26 slots, filled with 13 pairs of Monk Robes. At 2K each pair, you will have gained 26K worth in your inventory while alching the noted item that you brought along with you.

Once you have filled your inventory with Monk Robes, run over to the Edgeville bank. You can Alch your item WHILE YOU RUN. So keep alching while you are going to the bank, and it's almost like you've just been alching the whole time without any distractions!!

It takes around 15 minutes to get an inventory full of Monk Robes. That means every hour, you can gain around 100K from this method, WHILE casting High Alchemy spells almost 100% of the time that you're doing this method.

Once you have enough robes, take them to the Grand Exchange and sell them. Great magic exp, good GP. This is currently one of the best F2P magic exp out there.

Note: There has been some confusion with this method. You are NOT suppose to alch the monk robes. You simply collect them and bank them while you are alching another item (make sure the item is in "noted" form so you can withdraw a ton of them while only taking up one bank space), that way you can make 100k while you alch.

P2P Method

This method can make you 300k per hour while you alch! You keep the almost the same High Alch experience that you normally would, but you gain hundreds and thousands of GP in the process!

The key to this method is to collect potato cactus while you are alching. This method was publicized by a YouTuber who has started to make a few Runescape Guide videos. His youtube username is OmgItsAga, and this method to making 300k gp while high alching to gain 45K magic experience per hour is demonstrated in his video below:

So we wish you the best of luck in training your magic level WHILE gaining money every hour to fund the costs! Best of luck on getting to the magic level that you desire. And remember to click here to subscribe so that you can receive updates via email when we post new guides like this one!

Thats not true said...

Why dont you telegrab wine of zammy? If you sell them at 2.3k each, and do 3 trips of 24 wine of zammy in an hour while alching, you could make 144k.
