Background

Green Dragons have been long used by players to gain money through their powerful combat skills. It is still a very effective method today to gain money - you just have to know where to go.

Although there are Green Dragon spawns in the wilderness, its best to go to the Chaos Tunnel to kill Green Dragons. The wilderness spot for Green Dragons is filled with people, so it becomes very ineffective when you have to run around or wait while trying to get a dragon to kill. Not only that, but you have to watch out for pesky PK'ers and waste your time getting them off your tail.

Even the Chaos Tunnels can get crowded. It's worth your time to find a world with less people, because that allows you to drastically increase the amount of kills and money you get per hour. You can read our guide on Uncrowded Worlds by clicking here.

Method

In your inventory, have a 2-dose anti-fire potion, super set, 8-10 salmons, home teleport tablet, and a war tortoise pouch. Equip yourself with your melee gear at Edgeville bank.

Take a sip of your super-sets and place them back into the bank. Run north-east of the edgeville bank and go east until you cross the bridge.

From there, jump over the wilderness border. Head north-east until you see a "Rift" on the floor. Enter the rift.

Once you're in, head south and go through the portal. Take a sip of your anti-fire potion and start slaying some dragons. Watch out for the baby black dragons, because they get in the way and become dangerous if a hoard of them team up. Try to stay away from them and focus on killing the Green Dragons.

Summon your War Tortoise and store hides and bones as your inventory begins to fill up. Keep going until you have no more room to pick up more loot. At this point, if you are using prayer, you can teleport home and recharge your prayer at the alter, then teleport to Edgeville using Amulet of Glory. Otherwise, directly teleport to Edgeville using Amulet of Glory to deposit your dragon loot.

With a combat stats such as attack, strength and defense in the high 80s to mid 90s, you should be able to kill between 100 to 110 Green Dragons per hour. On average, you should be able to kill 105 Green Dragons per hour. At this rate, you will make great money and gain decent combat experience.
