Ernest The Chicken Quest Guide
Requirements: Be able to fight a level 22 skeleton (Or run away from it)
Items required: A spade (But you can get it in the quest)
Rewards: 4 Quest Points, 3,000 coins, 10 eggs, and 300 feathers


WALKTHROUGH:

To start, go to Draynor Village and hightail it immediately north. You should come across Veronica, who is looking for her fiancé, Ernest. They were lost, so Ernest went into the mansion looking for directions, but he hasn't come out yet. You'll go find him, right? Right.

So enter the mansion and go up the stairs and then a ladder to the east of the top of the staircase. Up on the third floor, you will find Professor Oddenstein. Chat it up and he will tell you that he turned Ernest into a chicken. (By the way, the chicken roaming around on the ground is Ernest in case you didn't pick it up) Unfortunately, the machine he has to turn Ernest back is missing a few things. A Pressure Gauge, a Rubber Tube, and an Oil Can.


RUBBER TUBE:

To get it, pick up the spade in the room to the east (on the first floor) that has an assortment of items. Then go out the back door in that room and walk around the perimeter of the mansion's property until you come across a heap of compost. Dig the compost with the shovel and you'll receive a Grimy Key. Walk back inside and open the locked door with the skeleton. You can either kill it or take the tube and run. Your pick.


PRESSURE GAUGE:

The pressure gauge is in the fountain over in the south-west corner of the Draynor Mansion property, but it's guarded by vicious piranhas. Get some poison by going into the room south of the kitchen (Where the range is on your map) and some fish food from the room north of the staircase on the second floor. Use the poison on the fish food, and you get poisoned fish food. Use it on the fountain, and the fish float to the surface. Search it again and you'll find the pressure gauge.

OIL CAN:

The hardest part of the quest. Professor Oddenstein's IQ Test. Get into the hidden room to the west by searching the Candle Scone. Descend the ladder and let the complex test begin:

(Note: If you mess up at any time, you can go up the ladder and come back down to reset all the levers.)

Go through the NE Door
Pull Lever D
Go through the SW Door
Go through the South door
Pull Lever A
Pull Lever B
Go through the NW door
Go through West door
Go through North door
Pull Lever E
Pull Lever F
Go through East door
Go through East door
Pull lever C
Go through NW door
Go through West door
Pull lever E
Go through East door
Go through South door
Go through South door
Go through Western door
Grab the oil can and hightail it out of the basement. Climb the ladder and pull the lever up there to get back out of the secret room.

ENDING:

Ascend your way back to the Professor. Be sure your inventory looks like this:

Talk to Oddenstein, you'll give him the items, and Ernest will become a human again. He'll come over to talk to you and Congratulations! You just finished Ernest the Chicken!
