The Runecrafting guild is open to anyone who has level 50 runecrafting or greater. A lot of people go to the guild to play the Great Orb Project minigame and gain experience in the Runecrafting skill. That's nice and all, but...

The Runecrafting Guild is a place where free players can make up to 450K PER HOUR with the right conditions.

How?

One reward of the Great Orb Project minigame is water talisman. They usually sell for 6K+ each on the Grand Exchange.



They cost 50 tokens each to buy from the token exchanger.



If your team wins at every alter, you receive 1000 Tokens per game in P2P, and 750 Tokens per game in F2P. It the teams have a draw at the alters, it's 500 Tokens per game.

Generally, games take 15-20 minutes to complete. 15 minutes is more common for F2P games, and 20 minutes is more common for P2P games. It's not difficult to accumlate 500 tokens per game, especially with clans that create 50/50 worlds in which both teams tie and get 500 tokens per game.



The Money Math

So where does the money come in? Well, say you average 500 tokens per game since that's the tokens you get if you tie. If you are in an F2P world, you can get 4 games per hour. That's 2000 tokens.

How many water talismans is that per hour? Water talismans are 50 tokens each.

Tokens Per Hour / Token Cost of Water Talisman = Water Talismans Per Hour

2000 / 50 = 40

Okay, so 40 water talismans per hour. Where's the money? Here it is:

Water Talismans Per Hour x Sell Price Per Talisman = Gold Earned Per Hour

40 x 6000 GP = 240,000 GP

Yes, that's 240,000 GP PER HOUR! And that's assuming you tie all of your games. What if you win all your games? Well, you get 4000 tokens per hour, meaning 80 water talismans, meaning 480,000 GP PER HOUR!

Now I hope you are starting to see why the Runecrafting Guild is referred to many as a gold mine. It serves as a great way to gain runecrafting experience while providing you with one of the fastest money-makers that the F2P worlds have to offer.
