I would like to issue an official apology to some of you who may have been inadvertently affected negatively by the advice (or lack thereof) given on our last Air Talisman investing venture.
Our clan target was Air Talismans when they were at the price of around 300 GP. Now, we had the notion of increasing the prices to 500 GP, and then dumping it as a group. That way, if say, someone invested say 10M, they would come out with a 60% profit, or 16M.
However, some people got nervous and started dumping the Air Talismans at a lower price. Now, once people start dumping, this lowers the price of the Talisman. So other people get nervous that the prices are falling, and then everyone starts selling, causing the prices to plunge more and more.
So really, the Clan Merchanting system works, but when people chicken out, everyone suffers.
Now, we will take some of the blame for it as well. Unfortunately we ran into security issues that disabled us to update the status of this site. That meant that we were not able to successfully access the website to tell you guys that it was time to start dumping the item even though it didn't reach our target price yet.
This can serve as a reminder to many people.
1. The RSMG Team - Keep security up at all times.
2. You, the investor - Watch the markets yourselves closely. If you see price is falling, dump the item and still have some profits.
3. The Early Dumpers - This type of action (betraying one's peers) will make people dislike you in the real world.
All-in-all, we would like to make an appology to everyone who may not have made profits from this item (although I heard some people made up to 10M in profits from this because they watched the target item themselves) .
Ensuring that our readers make as much profit as possible, in the quickest time, and with little-to-no loss is our top priority. Although it's impossible to predict exactly where the market will go, you can be certain that the RSMG Team will do it's best to keep you informed so you can keep making money.

So does the talisman thing still continues?
I'm not a fan of merchanting clans for this reason, you can make or break players. I like the way you are trying to help others, but you are causing artificial inflation on the market and that WILL screw with prices.
