To begin: Talk to Leela near Draynor Village (Prince Ali Rescue)
Quests Required: Prince Ali Rescue, The Golem and Icthlarin’s Little Helper.
Skills Required: 35 Construction, 35 Cooking, 45 Crafting, 50 Magic, 45 Prayer and 25 Thieving.
Recommended Combat: 70 for Full Experience (defeat a level 72 Shadow) 40 for Quest Completion (defeat a level 45 Shadow)
Items Required: Desert Gear (Desert Robes, Elidinis Robes, Waterskins, knife, junk food [unused food in bank]), Charos Ring (a), Al Kharid flier, beer glass, pestle and mortar, jug of wine, spice, pot, grain, prayer potion (3), hammer, willow logs, knife, 20 fire runes, a crush weapon, saw and approximately 1000 coins.
Talk to Leela wandering around a bit east of the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village. Agree to help her in her search in Uzer.
There are 2 ways to get there:
1.) Teleport to Lumbridge using Home teleport, or teleport to Al Kharid by Ring of Duelling, Glory Amulet or using the witch’s broomstick given in the ‘Swept Away’ quest. Take a carpet ride to Uzer from the Shantay Pass, then go south.
2.) Use a Fairy Ring teleport (DLQ) and run east to get to the pyramid.
Once inside the pyramid, rummage through as many skeletons as you can find. You’ll get attacked as soon as you do. Kill them, until you have the following items:
Canopic Jar, Pyramid Journal, Mummy Hand and a scroll of the dead.
Only open the Imposing Door to get to the skeletons. Do not go down caves, ladders, stairs or through doors that lead to other unknown parts. Use the current floor you have been on. There is trap near the skeleton at the decorative door to the north-west, so do not rummage through him. Teleport out of there, then talk to Leela. Cabbage-teleport from the Explorer Ring is really useful.
Stage 2: Reconstruction
Leela will inform you that you must reconstruct the Mummy. Chat with her about how to do this. Reldo should also have some information. Go the Varrock library. This is located in Varrock Castle. Running there is easier. Stock up on run energy with the musician close to Leela. After giving him a flier, he will hand you a scroll of praise.
Now, head back to Al Kharid. You need some words with Ali. Use a glory teleport, Home Teleport, or just run there. After interrogating him about the name, either use your broomstick from ‘Swept Away’ and operate it in your worn equipment tab or run south to the Shantay Pass, and head east to the Sorceress’s house. Get the apprentice to teleport you to the garden. Use withever garden is the highest for your Thieving level. It will take a while, but once you have enough sq’irks, use them on the pestle and mortar and your beer glass will turn into a sq’irk juice. Take it back to Ali, and trade it for the copied scroll. Create more dialogue with him, and interrogate him on the copy. You will use your charos ring (a) to convince him into giving you the original. Head back to the pyramid by your type of travel.
Stage 3: The Mummy
Before you begin, add your grain to your pot, and your spice to the wine. Go back to the imposing door and enter. Try going down the stairs. You must kill the golem.
He is only attackable under crush attacks. Using your hands works as well. Go downstairs and RUN west, grab the jar, then run east. You should find two jars and the mummy’s body. Go back to the stairs, and go south. There should be a puzzle. This is relatively easy. There are two colours to choose from: Green and blue, or yellow and red. Work out which colours can get the end, then walk only on the pair you chose. Go south, and then repair the tomb.
1.) Repair the chair and table.
2.) Place your pot and wine in the designated places.
3.) Pray at the statues. When you run out of prayer, simply pray at a statue that you repaired. Your prayer should return to full. Repair them all.
4.) Place the jars on the stand to the west.
Stage 4: The Shadows
Follow the corridor east. Kill the shadow. He is easy and is vulnerable to crush attacks like the golem. Go forward in the room and try to light a torch. Once one is lit, you must kill the shadow that appears. Repeat for all torchs. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KILL OF THE SHADOWS TO COMPLETE THE QUEST, HOWEVER THIS DOES GET MORE EXPERIENCE. The final shadow is level 74. Go back to the Pharoah Queen.
Chat with her and you should return all of the scrolls and articfacts that you obtained throughout the quest. This also gets experience. It is highly probable that you will either level Magic, Crafting, or Prayer. When you have 100% or done everything to increase her strength but killing the high-levelled shadows, return to Leela. You cannot complete the quest until you have 75% complete.
Congratulations, Quest Complete!
