Making Money While Fletching

Making Arrow Shafts

Required-

1 Fletching
1 Knife
1 Woodcutting axe OR however many logs you want to fletch
Some time to work

Right now you have 1 fletching, but that means that you can do something that will level you
quickly and make lots of profit. The first thing you need is logs. You can either chop these (that generate greater profit and is good for low level woodcutters) or buy them. Buying them is MUCH faster, so if you want to make a quick buck, use this method. For this, we’ll use 100 logs. Note, this only works with normal logs. Now go to a bank and withdraw 27 logs and your knife. Use the knife on the logs, and a menu will appear. Right click 15 arrow shafts and select “make X”. Type in any number over 27 and you’ll make all of your logs. You will get 405 arrow shafts for each fletch. Repeat this until you have used all of your logs. Go back to the grand exchange and sell all of you shafts. For my 100, I’ll make a profit of 4600gp. If you cut your logs, you’ll make a profit of 7500gp. If you fletch 1000 logs, you’ll make 46000gp. Cutting them will make you 75000gp.

Making High Level Bows:

Required-

70 fletching for yew method, 85 for magic
Some money to spend OR Magic or Yew logs and Bowstrings
1 Knife

You may be wondering how to get t5o level 85 fletching, because when Arrow Shafts ended you were still a very low level fletcher. If you need help getting to level 85, please see the Fletching Guide, written by Zetian Gaurd, which you can find here. Anyway, this is similar to the last section, only this time you will be making bows. This is an opportunity to make lots of money, because magic and yew longbows are expensive and in high demand. First, get either yew or magic logs. Use the same method as the shafts, except click on the longbow option. When all your unstrung bows are fletched, attach the bowstrings and sell. You can make millions with this method, and millions more if you can cut magic or yews. You can find a guide for that here, written by me.

It will, you have to cut your own magic logs though. You can also buy your own yew logs, but if you want to maximise your profit cutting them is better. You will only end up with about 200K profit after 4 hours =S

Why not add Feathers to the Arrow Shafts? They sell for more, And are more in demand then Arrow Shafts. You make more profit, And you get more Fletching Experience!

Right now I think you need to fletch maple longbows and sell them to general stores unstrung.
