Join Our Team

We are currently accepting avid Runescape players to join The RSMG Team! You can show off what you know to other players and in exchange get a piece of Runescape fame by being part of our well-known team!

What We Expect

Being a member of the Team is rewarding, but its not an easy job. You must treat your position as a member of this site's Team with great seriousness. You are required to the keep up with the demands that this site requires in order to be performing at its best, and you must be able to demonstrate a sense of maturity in order to stay on the Team.

You agree that to be a part of the Team, you are submitting content to us on a voluntary basis, and that you will not accept pay for your efforts. Rather you will be rewarding for your contributions to this site by receiving credit for being the author of said produced content.

Failure to meet up to these expectations might result in a swift removal from the honorable position as an RSMG Team Member.

Tasks

The main task as a Member of the Team is to produce guides that instruct players on how bring players the greatest amount of success in one of the many different aspects of Runescape. Guides are required to be written formally, in detailed steps, and need to have pictures that go along with the guide in order to be deemed complete.

Other tasks Team Members can select include taking pictures for older guides that lack pictures, being active on Runescape Fansite forums to spread the news of our website, and/or making youtube videos that go along with our guides.

Getting Accepted

So if you think you are up to the task of being a part of our Team here at thersmg.com, here's what you need to do.

First you must submit an application (which you will see in a bit) and if we deem you worthy based on your application, then you go to the 2nd stage of the screening process to join our team.

Once your application is accepted, you move on the second step in which you MUST produce TWO quality guides within one week of your acceptance. Failure to do so will demonstrate your lack of ability to produce quality guides in a timely manner. If you produce two guides within the given time frame, they are of quality (nice pics and well detailed), then congratulations, you have survived and are now a part of the team.

Positions

We currently have two positions open on our team:

• Quest Guide Writer (3 spots open) - Your task is to produce one quest guide every two days. Quest guides must include detailed steps, a picture for each step, and easy to follow.
• Mini-Game Guide Writer (4 spots open) - Your task it to produce one mini-game guide each week. Mini-game guides MUST include requirements, stated if its members only, location of said minigame, rules, rewards, ample screenshots, and strategies to winning. Mini-game guides MUST be detailed, and are expected to be the longest guides on the site.
  

Staying On The Team

Staying on the team requires you to follow these guidelines:

1. Write/produce something new to add to the website once EVERY week (no exceptions)
2. Create quality guides that are original and written on your own
   

Failure to comply with the above rules will result in a dismissal from The RSMG Team.
