Black Knight's Fortress Quest Guide

Guide to "The Black Knight's Fortress"

Requirements: 13 Quest Points, a cabbage, an iron chainbody (Found at Wayne's Chain's for 210 coins), and a bronze helmet (Found at the helmet shop in barbarian village for 24 coins)

Recommended: Ability to kill level 33 Black Knights, an extra cabbage in case you eat one, sufficient food and armor

Rewards: 3 Quest Points, 2500 coins.


Walk-through:

1. To begin, like all quests begin, you need to find a certain NPC. This time it's Sir Amik Varze. He's located on the third floor of the White Knight's castle. He believes that the Black Knights are plotting some sort of "secret weapon" and hand you a Dossier. Examine it, and it will say "Infiltrate fortress... sabotage secret weapon... self destruct in 3...2...ARG!" and promptly be destroyed in 5 second causing you to have to blow on your hands to cool them down. (Mission Impossible reference, anyone?)

2. Now time to walk north, out of Falador until you get to the monastery. They grow nice cabbages there, so pick up a couple to take with you on your quest. Be sure you have your bronze medium helmet and an iron chain body because that's your disguise to get you into the castle. Don't forget to bring better armor, because those black knights can hit HARD if you're low leveled.

3. Enter the sturdy door on the south side (Pictured in the picture above). Push the wall immediately north of you and climb the ladder. Once you're in, switch to your better armor because you'll soon start to run into tougher enemies. Go up that ladder and the ladder immediately after that and you should end up on the roof

4. Go south and to the east and descend that ladder. Then run to the room with the wrought iron gate dividing it, and climb the ladder. Immediately to the left of you is another ladder. Climb down that and you should be on the other side of the room with the gate next to a chaos altar. If you've been using prayer to defend yourself, then recharge here.

5. If you proceed to the west, you will notice a door. Open it and then climb down that ladder. You will be in a small corridor with a grate near the end of it. If you listen, you'll hear the witch's plans for an invincibility potion and how all she needs is a cabbage from Draynor Manor. This is why we picked cabbages from the monastery. You haven't eaten those yet, have you?

6. Make your way back to the entrance. Remember how we immediately pushed the secret wall open? Now this time, you need to try to open the door to the room with the long table. Watch out. The guard will tell you not to go in and that the Kinghts will kill anyone who enters.

7. The Knights will attack you, so immediately go up the ladder to the left of you and push through the wall at the end of the hallway. Go over to the hole in the ceiling and USE (Be sure you right click the cabbage to use it, not eat it. This is why we brought two, remember?) the cabbage on it. You drop it in, ruin the potion, and the witch goes on a monalogue about how it was five years, blach blah blah, blah blah. *Sigh* Anywho, hightail it out of there and make your way back to Sir Amik Varze to claim your reward.
