Barrows Guide

Author: Manofweird68
Barrows is a mini-game in which you fight the ghosts of a once powerful band of brothers who were revered in Runescape for their ability in battle. These brothers possessed armor and weapons that were very mighty in battle, and as a result, very pricey.
These same equipment pieces are dropped by the ghost of the brothers, which you fight in the barrows mini-game. The equipment can go into the hundreds-of-thousands GP price range. That's what makes this mini game a profitable one.

How to Get There:
To get to this dangerous yet rewarding place, you must first get to Canifis. You can get there by teleporting there (ancients), running there, or teleporting there from your house. Then, you can do either of these three things to get to barrows: walk there or take the shortcuts

When you finally arrive at the barrows field, get ready for the fights.

The Fights:
Below are the brothers. they go (from left to right)

Ahrim, Dharok, Guthan, Karil, Torag, and Verac. (sorry if they aren't spelled right)
#1- Dharok
He is the north-east tomb. First dig on his grave, and you will be teleported down into his lair. Have your maging gear on and use the anti-melee prayer. Click on his tomb, and when he pops out, attack him with magic. Watch your prayer because barrows drains it rapidly. If it goes low, drink a dose of the prayer potion and never let your prayer run out as he can kill you in 1 hit!! When he is killed, click the stairs and get out.
#2- Guthans
He is directly south of Dharok's tomb. Again, stand over it and click the spade to pop up in his lair. If you have a low defense, use the anti-melee prayer again. If you have below 70 defense, pray anti-melee, but if you have 70+ defense then you should be able to withstand his attacks. Click on his tomb and attack him with magic as you did with Dharok. Wait until he is dead, and then click the stairs to get out of there.

#3- Veracs
He is the north-west brother. This is the toughest because he can hit through prayer and armor. For this, I use rune legs and a mystic top when fighting him. Don't drink prayer potions as they will have no effect. Always keep your health above 40 when fighting him as he can hit pretty high and pretty often as well. Eat food when you are low and then run out of the tunnel.
#4- Ahrim
He is the hill directly in the middle of them all. When you get on top of it, put on your ranger gear. Also drink some ranging potion. You should have ruby or onyx bolts. Have a dose of prayer potion, and dig into his tunnel. When you are in there, start to pray the anti-magic spell. click his tomb and then kill him. If you run low on prayer, drink some more of the prayer potion. Wait until he is dead, then go back up.

#5- Karil
He is directly south of Ahrim. Put your mage equipment back on, and get your magic attack ready. Drink some prayer potion, and dig into his tomb. Pray anti-range and click his tomb. Drink some prayer potion when needed. Then click on the tomb to fight him. Kill him and wait until he is dead and you can proceed to the next brother.

#6- Torags
He is the south-west tomb. Keep the mage gear on and dig on his tomb. If you have any remaining prayer left, pray anti-melee, but don't drink more potions when you run out. He is easy to kill, and he doesn't hit that high either. Wait until he is dead, then get back up.

The Tunnels:
Somewhere along this line you will have come to a tomb where nothing comes up. It will say something like: You have found a tunnel. Do you want to proceed?
Don't go into it unless you have killed all 5 brothers in the other tombs. When you have killed them all, go back to the tomb that had the tunnel. Say that you do want to proceed, and you will pop up in this unknown place that looks like a dungeon. Around you will be doors, but only a few of them will open. The object is to get to the middle where the chest is. The path is always different, so I can't help you by telling you how to get there.
Don't drink your prayer potions when you run low as they will do no good. Only drink them when the brother comes up to you. If he doesn't show up and you are in the middle, then simply click on the chest, and tada, he will appear.
You will also notice monsters in all of the rooms you run through. Try to kill about 9 of them before you open the chest. This should get you 15 kill count (displayed at the bottom right of the screen), which gets you a better drop and better runes. With luck, you will end up with some very valuable pieces of armor and items that you can sell for a pretty penny at the GE. When you are finished with the trip, click the teletab and teleport away to safety to sell your newly acquired treasures.

Actually a good idea is take a drag dagger poison ++, then go to the tombs (only a few of the barrows bros are good for this) and attack with the specials. Get to a safe spot hiding behind the tomb. let the poison kill them, and use prayer if needed for weaker people. Its that easy :D however if you dont poison them just keep attacking.
Well, im 105 cb, and this is my method.
If you havent done dt, do it now! you will get all your runes back from the chest.
Get 1000 runes of each required for ur highest blood and ice spell
wear best range defence armour, or best mage def armour, i wear full guthans, and/or mystic top and bottom. bring 2 prayer pots or so if you are new. bring food, a spade, etc. bring a crossbow, with good bolts for ahrim. Bring a melee weapon for karil. go in, start at dharok. PRAY! hit him with either ur best ice spell or blood spell. it doesnt matter, u cant get hurt by him with protect on. i use ice, because you dont use bloods, which makes it cheaper. ok, after he is dead, go to karil. if you still have prayer left, use it, but dont waste a prayer pot dose on a weakling like him. maging him is actually quite easy, but i melee him. once he is dead, head to verac. prayer doesnt help much, just mage him. when maging, mage with best ice spell, then run away and start using best blood spell. when he is unfrozen, repeat. next, go to guthans, and do same as veracs. then torags. same thing. Ahrims, DO NOT MELEE! range him dead, eat when necessary. whichever tunnel you get, go in, and dont bother with kill count. just head for the crypt in the before mentioned guide, and you are done!
well i have a different solution and im 107 cb, i buy 50 pray pots, 50 super attack(4), 50super strength, 50 super defense, adn barrows armor like torag top and verac skirt, or dharok top and legs. than i use a d skim dds, d skim, and dh axe. once i finish it until i have aprox. 300 death runes and 1.2k mind runes than i use a slayer staff and use slayer dart and that is how i do it
