Rune Crafting


Introduction
Do you always find yourself saying, 'Why are the runes for that spell so darn expensive?!', or 'I bet a stack of those runes would make me lots of money on the Grand Exchange!', well, if so rune crafting could be something you find very useful indeed. Rune crafting can be used to generate large amount of runes in relatively short amounts of time, and once you are a higher level you will be able to use it to make millions! Once you are level 91, you can craft 2 nature runes at once! That's a profit of ~500gp per pure essence! In this guide i will show you the best ways to train your rune crafting and the fastest ways to make runes. First of all make sure you have completed the rune mystery's quest and have the required talisman to get into your altar before you start training.

Training

Levels 1-9

On these levels all that you can really do is make air runes, and until level 9 they are the fastest experience. Simply follow the path from the bank to the altar and enter with an air talisman.

Levels 9-20
At this level i have found that the fastest experience is earth runes. Follow the picture to the altar and the bank.
Levels 20-44 (F2P) (Or 20-27 P2P)
OK, so now you have a bit of experience crafting runes and now we are going to move onto the body altar. As before, follow the path on the picture.


44-99 (F2P)
This is the last method for F2P'ers, All you will do in this section is to use an air company, (normally world 16). You will be a crafter and people will require your assistance and then they will craft runes and you will get the exp. You can only get 30000 exp a day however and other people will trade you 25 unnoted rune essence for 2,000 GP and 25 noted essence, after level 44 you will not lose money from this and it is a very fast way of training your rune crafting until level 99!

27-44(P2P)
You must have completed Lost City quest to use this method. Go to the Zanaris bank and deposit all your Armour. Then follow the map to the altar, you can use the agility shortcuts if you have the levels needed.
44-54 (P2P)
For these levels, you have to choose which method to craft the next runes, based on your achievements in the game and your person. You will be crafting the money making nature runes!

Method 1

Karajamba shop method
For this method you take all of your noted essence to karajamba and use the general store to unnote your essences, then follow the path on the picture to the altar.
Method 2
Fairy rings
If you have completed or started the Fairy Pt 2 quest and you have access to the fairy rings method then you have access to this method of rune crafting. you will be banking in Zanaris and using the fairy rings to get close to the Nature Altar. Use the picture for paths.
Method 3
The Abyss
The abyss is a super fast way to craft any rune without the required talisman. You must have done the Mage of Zamorak Mini-Quest. If you have done the mini-quest talk to the mage of Zamorak in the wilderness to learn how to use the abyss.

54-99 (P2P)
For this level and onwards the fastest rune crafting exp is to craft law runes. Start at Draynor bank and make sure you have no weapons or Armour of any kind. The monks will not allow you on the island if you have any. Follow the picture to the altar, you can also use the Abyss to craft law runes.
