you guys really need to put up the pineapple cutting method.
You should defiantly note a few things:
1) high alching doesn't raise hp, so if u high alch all the way to 99 and u are a pure you will have very low hp
2) You should make a mage training guide for people who are range pures or melee pures and want to train their mage without training hp, therefor not raising their combat level. You do that by doing a number of things, confusing, weakening and cursing, teleport spamming, making teleport tabs and low and high alching, enchanting, and anything at the mage training arena, and tele grabbing.
3) If you train your range and mage, but mage without hp you can keep the low combat lvl of only training one stat and as little hp as possible but have 2 stats, so essentially you can be a range and a mage pure at the same time. A rage pure? It would help you get the finishing blow on people wearing full rune, even though it isn't as good as melee I find it is really helpful

You certainly can do that!!! I did that myself. I had no intention of joining the team until Shad invited me to, but yea! I started with the good ol' cooking guide myself ;)
