BackgroundHigh level crafters are always after Cave Goblin Wire because they can get 104 crafting exp very quickly by adding a wire to an empty light orb.
Obtaining cave wire is pretty easy. You just get it from stealing it from a machine in the south-west part of
Dorgesh-Kaan, just east of the furnace. There's a bank just north of the wire machine, making it easy to store your collected goods.
This method requires 44 thieving. The higher your thieving level, the better.
MethodStart off on a pretty populated world - this will make the spawns faster. Purchase a regen bracelet, and some cheap healing food if you're low level (salmon, wine, etc). Also have your highest beast of burden summoning familiar ready.
Equip your regen bracelet. Have your summoning familiar summoned. Withdraw 4-12 pieces of food depending on your level.
You can get to Dorgesh-Kaan by using the goblin caves in the lumbridge castle basement. From the bank at Dorgesh-Kaan, run south past the marketplace until you get to a set of stairs on the southern wall of the large main chamber. Go up the stairs, then immediately down the ones just to the south of you. The wiremaking machine is just to your southeast.
To collect wire, click on the rotating portion of the machine. You will take some damage if you are unsuccessful, so this is where the food comes in. Store some of the wire into your beast of burden, and head back to the bank once you have a full inventory.

The profits below are assuming you have more expert stats, such as 90 thieving and 52 summoning. This also assumes you have Ardougne Cloak (3), which increases your thieving capabilities.
So use this method to get a ton of gold in the land of the goblins. Just don't become as greedy as a goblin!
